Youth Paint & Sip: A Canvas of Culture, Color, and Connection

My dear friends,

On the evening of July 16th, the brush of community will touch the canvas of youth, and together we shall paint a moment that celebrates the vibrant heart of Liberia. Zanzibar Cafe extends an invitation — not to just an event, but to an experience, where imagination dances, colors speak, and young souls are free to create.

From 6 PM to 9 PM, the world will slow down just enough for young dreamers — ages 19 and under — to dip their brushes into bold expression. At 3720 N Tryon Street, Suite 101, we will transform ordinary space into a gallery of laughter, storytelling, and wonder.

This is Youth Paint & Sip, where the paint is the voice, the canvas is the soul, and every stroke is a celebration of heritage. There will be art, movies, and games, but more than that, there will be joy. The kind that lingers in the heart like a sunset you never forget.

The event is free, and everything — brushes, supplies, snacks, even the spirit of joy — is included. Little ones under 6 are welcome too, as long as they are accompanied by a guiding hand.

So let the children come, not just to sip from a cup, but to drink deeply from the well of culture. Let them splash the flag’s red, white, and blue across their canvas and call it “home.” Let them laugh, share, and shape memories with every color they choose.
