What a really nice day at the annual Liberian Independence Festival at Sugaw Creek Park. This has been an annual tradition since I was a child that we always look forward to. I truly LOVE my Liberian people and culture!
Shout out to my friends who attended to celebrate with us. They enjoyed themselves and fit right in! Also shout out to our surprise special guests!
Thanks for pulling this together @gonnerrich and @libacclt! See y’all tomorrow (Sun 7/24) for part two at the I.E. and Mighty Barrolle soccer tournament. More good, fun and a competitive game. The Liberian Community Association of Charlotte will also be honoring the community soccer legends.
