Mercy Kofi-Lee was born in Monrovia, Liberia.
She believes that everyone has a purpose in life for which God created them. Mercy, a preacher’s kid, accepted Christ Jesus as her Lord and Savior at a very young age and was baptized. She later rededicated her life to Christ Jesus in 2016. She knows her purpose is to become a resource in many ways to others, helping them discover their existence, regardless of their background, upbringing, or culture. Her main focus is to help individuals become a better version of themselves in the eyes of their creator. Mercy is an alumna of Catawba College, earning a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Business Administration in 2011. She is currently pursuing her graduate degree in Master of Arts in Biblical Studies with a Concentration in the New Testament. She currently serves as Chaplain for The Librarian Community of Greater Charlotte. Additionally, Mercy is the founder of “What Is Life” and has initiated a dinner and chat event called “Marriage Caucus”, focusing on rebuilding relationships and marriages. Mercy is married to her childhood friend, Alton S. Lee, and their union is blessed with two children. Together, they are founders of the African Community Choir (aka the mass choir). Mercy has served in several positions in church and currently serves as a music teacher and assistant worship leader at the Mont Carmel church. Her favorite quote in life is “What Is Life”?
