Hello my Libac community My name is Gennether Banks. I am a wife, a mother of 3 adult children and a proud grandmother of 2 lovely grand kids. I am a graduate of the University of North Carolina Charlotte. At UNCC I option my bachelors degree in Sociology and a minor in American Studies. I am presently working on my Masters in Advanced Clinical Social Work.
As part of the Liberian community since 1988. I am still proud of being part of my Liberian community of the greater Charlotte even now. I am employed with Novant Health Presbyterian medical center for 19 years now. I work in the social work, case management department as a discharge facilitator. Part of my job is to provide resources for patient needs. In order to do that, I will need to identified all the different resources in the Charlotte and surrounding county areas.
I volunteer for the board member, because I know that I can help with providing resources for our community when there is a need for the members of our community. I am also here to encourage, and empower our people.
I believe the community that stand together are stronger in every way possible.
