It is with heavy hearts, the Edwards, Bryant, Thompson, Rogers, Milton and Richards families announce the death of Ralph W. Edwards Sr. The beloved, husband, father, brother, uncle, friend, mentor and grandfather passed away at the Mt. Sanai Hospital in Brooklyn New York, on Thursday, April 30, 2020.
Ralph is survived by his wife Charlotte Milton Edwards; children: Gerald T. Edwards, Ralph Edwards Jr., Huburn Edwards, Napoleon Edwards, Ralphena Edwards and Ralphiel Edwards, six grandchildren, brothers, sister, Cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of many others in the US, Liberia and Antigua. He was predeceased by his mother Marie Bryant Edwards, father Huburn G. Edward Sr.
“On Saturday, May 23rd, 2020, there will be a limited family viewing at The Grier Funeral Home in Charlotte, North Carolina, 115 N. Cloudman St., at 10:00am EST and graveside service at 12:30pm EST, at York Memorial Cemetery, at 5150 S. Tryon St., Charlotte NC 28217, which in lieu of attendance, will be live-streamed on Facebook .
